This label is part of the OEKO-TEX service portfolio, which has proven itself in the textile and clothing sector for over 25 years. Since its introduction in January 2017, the Leather Standard by OEKO-TEX has provided a highly visible decision-making aid for processors and consumers in the footwear and leather goods manufacturing and luxury packaging sectors. An important part of the certification process is a review of the company's quality management to determine how compliance with the comprehensive OEKO-TEX criteria catalogue is ensured at all times, as well as a comprehensive chemical analysis of the ingredients according to the Leather Standard by OEKO-TEX. The review of the status quo revealed pollutant safety for the entire range of production. Customers and consumers can see the current status of harmful substance safety via the OEKO-TEX certificate and the associated label, which has a unique number.
